Following a year where many of our favorite activities were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the summer of 2021 looks to be back on track. In Wauwatosa and the Milwaukee area, the Fourth of July celebration and fireworks show are back on as scheduled. But, there will be some changes from previous years.

Wauwatosa Fireworks Display for 2021

For 2021, the fireworks display and the parade will be split off into two different days in Wauwatosa. The Wauwatosa fireworks will be fired off on Sunday, July 4, at 9:15 p.m.

The location of the launching is different this year, with the site being 63rd and River Parkway. Residents are invited to watch the display from Hart Park. Make sure to arrive early to ensure that you get a good spot to sit and enjoy the show.

Wauwatosa Fourth of July Parade 2021

The following day, on Monday, July 5, the Wauwatosa Fourth of July parade will be held, starting at 9 a.m. The parade will start on North Ave and 80th Street and will proceed to 104th Street.

City of Wauwatosa officials stated that this year’s parade would be one of the biggest in the state, with just under 100 entries. Arrive early and bring sunscreen, as the parade will last until late morning when the sun’s rays can start to have an effect.
